Probably the most useful development to improve the way Fidus Writer works for me — someone writing in the humanities, with extensive footnotes that often end up displayed a long way from the footnote number in the main text — would be dynamic links between the footnote numbers. It would be really helpful if, when I clicked, say footnote 55 in the main text, my cursor went to footnote 55. Similarly, when I had finished editing footnote 55, when I clicked its number, I would go back to the point in the main text that had footnote 55. Honestly, this would save an enormous amount of scrolling about and frustration. Not a problem with shorter piece of writing but currently writing a book entirely using Fidus, so would love this feature.
