Is there any way of removing the ‘Informational’ column from the display when writing/editing a document? When I am initially writing a document, or making changes to it, it would be good to have more room on the page to work with (especially for the notes which otherwise are very narrow).
Not yet. The way it is currently handled is that if the width becomes too narrow, the informational messages are not shown as their own column. To make this an option even when the screen is wider is on our todo list.

Thanks for explaining. It will be really useful when it is implemented for those of us who have to write longer footnotes.
